We are blessed that she has been a part of our preschool and does a wonderful job helping the children learn and grow and shares the love of Jesus. our preschool director

Joan Brannan started teaching at Messiah Lutheran Preschool 24 years ago. As a member of Messiah Lutheran Church, she taught in the 3-year-old classroom for 20 years and spent 1 year teaching in the VPK classroom. Four years ago, she became the preschool director.

Joan has a bachelor’s degree in Business from Ball State University, Muncie, IN. To become a preschool teacher and credentialed director, she studied at Nova Southeastern University to meet all the requirements for Hillsborough County, the state of Florida, and Messiah Lutheran Preschool.

As the preschool director, Joan enjoys popping in the classrooms to see the children so happy and eager to learn and explore new things. She is grateful to Messiah Lutheran for giving her the opportunity to lead a great preschool with such a dedicated staff, and to share the love of Jesus with all the little children that walk through our doors.
