From the Director....
February will be a fun and busy month here at Messiah Lutheran Preschool. Soon there will be lots of hearts decorating our classrooms. Classes will celebrate Valentine’s Day with parties on February 10,13 and 14. Specific information about your child’s party and card exchange will be coming home from your child’s teacher.
Registration for the 2023-2024 school year has begun. If you haven’t returned your enrollment forms, please do so as soon as possible as the classes are filling up.
We greatly appreciate your support and if someone you refer to our preschool enrolls his/her child we will thank you for your referral by giving you a $50 credit to use at Early Care or Lunch Bunch.
February 8th will be our Day of Service to the community. The 3yr old and VPK classes will visit the Carrollwood Care Center down the street from us and sing to the residents and pass out Valentine’s Day cards. We will return to school to fill Hygiene Bags for the Gradian Ad Litem Program. Teachers will be asking for volunteers to help us that day.
Again, thank you for all your support! We are looking forward to a great February.
Blessings-
Joan Brannan, Preschool Director
Preschool Service Project:
We have partnered with the Guardian Ad Litem - Voices for Children organization to provide individual hygiene bags to the children who are placed in a safe home at a moment’s notice. What can you do to help? Please collect unused hotel shampoo, conditioner, cream and soap bottles and send them to school with your child. The children of Messiah Preschool will put them together in single use bags.
Friends, Grandparents and parents who travel for work are a great resource too.
The more we collect, the more we can help other children. We will be collecting these items all
